What an amazing experience this wedding was! This was our first event where everything had to be moved by boat only to access this stunning Lake Placid location. There is no such thing as running to the hardware store for something when you are as remote as this location was.
Working with Laura and Michael in the west coast, and Laura’s parents in Texas had us Skyping and conferencing to get everything just right.
As you will see in the video, we had several events to prepare including a festive South of the Border Welcome Party, a lakeside ceremony with a custom built stage for the B&G by the very talented team at the location, and a magical reception tent. Thanks to the talents of Mike Frodey from CPRC, we used two levels of the lawn for the main reception. The dinner was on the main lawn, and dancing was on what normally serves as a volleyball court. The rain held off just long enough to cool down an unusually warm day in the Adirondacks as guests moved into cocktail hour.
Thank you to Tomas Flint Photography for the images, Mim Frantz for the coordination on the event, Kevin at Caffe Rustica in Lake Placid, what a pleasure to work with you and your team, Below is a video from Full Frame Cinema to give you a better view of what happened the week of Laura & Michaels Wedding
